به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، ساعت ۲ بعدظهر دوشنبه ۱۹ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۳، رضا حزباوی، متولد: ۱۳۶۴، متاهل، دارای ۳ فرزند، اهل خرمشهر و ساکن کوت عبدالله از توابع اهواز در استان خوزستان، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، دستگیر و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
به نقل از یک فرد مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”بازداشت آقای رضا حزباوی، در پی یورش نیروهای امنیتی به منزل وی در محله کوت عبدالله صورت گرفته و علیرغم پیگیری های خانواده از وضعیت و مکان نگهدای وی اطلاعی نداریم.”
لازم به ذکر است، رضا حزباوی، پیشتر هم در جریان اعتراضات آبان ماه ۱۳۹۸، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در شهرستان خرمشهر، دستگیر و پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تحمل بلاتکلیفی طولانی مدت، به زندان سپیدار اهواز، منتقل و چندی بعد با تودیع قرار وثیقه آزاد شده بود.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، رضا حزباوی، توسط قاضی دادگاهی در استان خوزستان، محاکمه و به تحمل ۴ ماه حبس تعزیری و ۷۴ ضربه شلاق شده بود.
پس از اعتراض و ارجاع پرونده رضا حزباوی به شعبه دادگاه تجدیدنظر استان خوزستان، حکم وی به پرداخت جریمه نقدی تقلیل پیدا کرد.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز دوشنبه ۱۷ دی ماه ۱۴۰۳، رضا حزباوی محبوس در بازداشتگاه حفاظت اطلاعات نیروی انتظامی اهواز، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، به بند قرنطینه زندان شیبان مرکزی اهواز، منتقل شد.
At 2 PM on Monday, December 10, 2024, Reza Hezbavi, born in 1985, married with three children, a resident of Khorramshahr and living in Kut Abdollah, a suburb of Ahvaz in Khuzestan Province, was arrested by security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to a knowledgeable source in an interview with the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "The arrest of Mr. Reza Hezbavi was carried out following a raid by security forces on his home in the Kut Abdollah neighborhood, and despite the family's follow-ups, we have no information about his condition and whereabouts."
It is worth mentioning that Reza Hezbavi had previously been arrested by security forces in Khorramshahr during the November 2019 protests. After undergoing interrogation and enduring a long period of uncertainty, he was transferred to Sepidar Prison in Ahvaz and was released some time later on bail.
With the commencement of legal proceedings, Reza Hezbavi was tried by a judge in Khuzestan Province and sentenced to four months of imprisonment and 74 lashes.
After an appeal and referral of Reza Hezbavi's case to the Khuzestan Province Court of Appeals, his sentence was reduced to a monetary fine.
According to the report by Human Rights in Iran, on Monday, January 6, 2025, Reza Hezbavi, detained in the Intelligence Protection Detention Center of the Ahvaz Law Enforcement Force, was transferred to the quarantine ward of Sheiban Central Prison in Ahvaz after undergoing interrogation and being charged.
