بر اساس گزارش رسیده به سازمان حقوق بشری هەنگاو، روز پنجشنبە ١٨ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴، ٨ ژانویه ۲۰۲۶ ، آکو محمدی شهروند ٢٢ ساله کورد و اهل روستای کانی رش از توابع ثلاث باباجانی و ساکن قشم، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی در این شهر با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای حکومتی جان باخت. خانواده وی یک شنبه ٢١دی ماه ۱۴۰۴،با پرداخت مبلغ یک میلیاردتومان پیکر آکو رو تحویل گرفته اند.
