According to reports received by the Amir Kabir newsletter Mahtab Salehi a 23yearold student of French language at the University of Tabriz was arrested during protests on January 8 or 9 in this city. Approximately 25 days have passed since the students arrest and there has been no information available about her condition.

Mahtab Salehis family has recently been informed of her arrest and have also been threatened that this news should not be made public. Additionally a bail of approximately 1.3 billion tomans has been set for her temporary release.

Close associates of Mahtab Salehi have stated that her laptop and mobile phone have been confiscated. They also mentioned that there has been no direct contact with her so far and her health status is unknown.

خانواده مهتاب صالحی تهدید شده اند که این خبر نباید رسانه ای شود. همچنین برای آزادی موقت این دانشجو قرار وثیقه ای بالغ بر ۱.۳ میلیارد تومان تعیین شده است.
