سارا تبریزی، زندانی سیاسی سابق، روز چهارم فروردین ۱۴۰۳ به وزارت اطلاعات احضار شد و یک روز بعد، ۵ فروردین، پیکر بی جانش در خانه پیدا شد.
به گزارش صفحه ایران اینترنشنال، سارا ۲۰ ساله بود. او یک بار در آبان ۱۴۰۲ از سوی وزارت اطلاعات بازداشت شده بود و دی ماه از زندان اوین آزاد شده بود.
بنا به اطلاعات منتشر شده ماموران سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی بارها سارا تبریزی را تهدید کرده بودند در صورت عدم همکاری، محتویات خصوصی تلفن همراهش منتشر خواهد شد.
بنا به گفته منابع مطلع، سارا در روزهای پایانی به شدت تحت فشار نیروهای حکومتی بوده است.

Sara was initially detained in November 2023 for her part in the ongoing protest movement, and sent to the notorious Evin prison, which houses Irans detained political leaders and activists.
She was released under heavy surveillance by the regimes security forces and blackmailed. If she did not work with the regime, the contents of her phone were to be published.
