بر اساس گزارش های دریافتی؛ ایمان اسدی ۲۱ ساله جمعه شب ۲۱ دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ در میدان معراج مشهد ابتدای خیابان درودی روبروی یگان امداد مشهد با دو تیر به گردن و قلب توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی کشته شده است.
سه شنبه ۲۳ دی پیکر او به خاتواده تحویل داده شده و در جو سنگین امنیتی در شهر چناران به خاک سپرده شد.
