جمعه ۲۳ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۳، محمد رضوانی کاشانی، از زندان اوین آزاد شد.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، طی روزهای اخیر، محمد رضوانی کاشانی، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان اوین، پس از اتمام دوران حبس تعزیری خود آزاد شد.
لازم به اشاره است، محمد رضوانی کاشانی، در مراحل دادرسی توسط قاضی سیدعلی مظلوم ـ رئیس شعبه ۲۹ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، از بابت اتهامات «توهین به مقدسات اسلامی در فضای مجازی» به تحمل ۱ سال و ۳ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شده بود.
این شهروند، در مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در تهران، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات و سپس بند ۲۴۰ و طی مراحل بازجویی ها توسط بازپرس دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، تفهیم اتهام شده بود.
پرونده سازی بر علیه محمد رضوانی، در پی انتشار متونی تحت عنوان درس گفتار که با موضوع«آخوندیسم و شیعه گری» با محتوای «تاریخ تحلیلی تقابل و تاثیر نهاد روحانیت شیعه بر مردم و فرهنگ ایران زمین در طول تاریخ» بوده صورت گرفته بود.
