الناز محمدی خبرنگار و دبیر سابق گروه جامعه روزنامه هم میهن است. او خواهر دوقلوی الهه محمدی است. او پس از قطع همکاری با روزنامه هم میهن، اکنون بار دیگر به این روزنامه برگشته و در حال حاضر دبیر گروه جامعه روزنامه هم میهن است.
الناز محمدی در تاریخ ۱۶ بهمن ۱۴۰۱، با دریافت احضاریه و در پی حضور در دادسرای اوین بازداشت شد. او چند روز بعد و در تاریخ ۲۳ بهمن با قرار وثیقه آزاد شد. در شهریور ۱۴۰۲ اعلام شد که او از اتهام همکاری با دولت های متخاصم تبرئه شده. بر اساس حکم شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران او به دلیل عدم احراز وقوع جرم و فقدان هرگونه دلیل و مدرک، از اتهام همکاری با دول متخاصم خارجی تبرئه شد. طبق همین حکم او به اتهام اجتماع و تبانی به سه سال حبس محکوم شد که یک چهلم آن اجرایی و مابقی به مدت پنج سال تعلیق می شود.
محمدی در تاریخ ششم آبان ۱۴۰۲ اعلام کرد که در آن روز برای اجرای یک چهلم حبس تعلیقی و تفهیم دیگر مجازات های تکمیلی صادر شده، خود را به اجرای احکام زندان اوین معرفی کرده. او در مدتی بعد و در آذر همان سال اعلام کرد که مجبور شده از دبیری گروه اجتماعی روزنامه هم میهن استعفا بدهد.
Elnaz Mohammadi is a journalist and former editor of the society section of the Ham-Mihan newspaper. She is the twin sister of Elaheh Mohammadi. After ending her collaboration with Ham-Mihan, she has returned to the newspaper and is currently the editor of the society section.
Elnaz Mohammadi was arrested on February 5, 2023, after receiving a summons and appearing at the Evin Courthouse. A few days later, on February 12, she was released on bail. In September 2023, it was announced that she had been acquitted of the charge of collaborating with hostile governments. According to the ruling of Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court of Tehran, she was acquitted of the charge of collaborating with hostile foreign governments due to lack of evidence and proof of the crime. Under the same ruling, she was sentenced to three years in prison for the charge of assembly and collusion, with one-fortieth of it to be served and the remainder suspended for five years.
On October 28, 2023, Mohammadi announced that she had reported to Evin Prison to serve one-fortieth of her suspended sentence and to be informed of other supplementary punishments issued. Later, in December of the same year, she announced that she had been forced to resign from her position as editor of the social section of Ham-Mihan newspaper.
