According to the Human Rights in Iran report, on Monday, October 2, 2023, Azadeh Abedini, a resident of Tehran, who was detained and held in Evin Prison, was released on bail after completing interrogations and having a hearing conducted by Iman Afshari in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court.

A source close to the family of the accused told the Human Rights in Iran reporter: "Ms. Abedini's release took place after her appearance in Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court and her hearing with a bail set at 2 billion tomans."

It is worth mentioning that on August 15, 2023, an individual, under the pretext of 'promoting virtue,' had a verbal altercation with Azadeh Abedini regarding her attire, and a clip of this altercation was published on social media. On August 16, 2023, Azadeh Abedini was arrested by the information protection officers of the Law Enforcement Force in Tehran. After being transferred to the detention center of the Intelligence Bureau located at Shapour Crossroad and undergoing interrogation and being charged, on August 19, 2023, due to her deteriorating condition, she was first taken to Tehran Emergency and then transferred to Evin Prison.

With the commencement of the legal proceedings, on October 1, 2023, Azadeh Abedini was sent to Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, where she presented her defense regarding the charges of "insulting Islamic sanctities" and "encouraging others to corruption and prostitution" to Judge Iman Afshari.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، روز دوشنبه ۱۰ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، آزاده عابدینی، ساکن تهران، محبوس و بلاتکلیف در زندان اوین، پس از اتمام بازجویی ها و برگزاری جلسه دادرسی توسط ایمان افشاری در شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران و تامین وثیقه آزاد شد.

به نقل از یک فرد نزدیک به خانواده این متهم در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”آزادی خانم عابدینی، پس ازحضور وی در شبعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران و برگزاری جلسه دادرسی وی با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۲ میلیارد تومان، صورت گرفته است.”

لازم به اشاره است، در تاریخ ۲۴ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، فردی تحت عنوان (امر به معروف) به نوع پوشش آزاده عابدینی با وی درگیری لفظی پیدا کرد و کلیپی از این درگیری هم در فضای مجازی منتشر و در تاریخ ۲۵ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، آزاده عابدینی، توسط ماموران حفاظت اطلاعات نیروی انتظامی در تهران، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه اداره آگاهی واقع در چهارراه شاپور و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، در تاریخ ۲۸ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۲، بر اثر وخامت حال ابتدا به اورژانس تهران و سپس به زندان اوین، منتقل شد.

با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، در تاریخ ۹ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۲، آزاده عابدینی، به شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، اعزام و دفاعیات خود از بابت اتهامات(توهین به مقدسات اسلامی) و (تشویق سایرین به فساد و فحشا) به قاضی ایمان افشاری، ارائه کرد.
