آراز سلیمیان، ۲۷ ساله، دانشجوی رشته حقوق و شهروند اهل چالوس، روز ۱۸ دی ماه در این شهر هدف شلیک گلوله های جنگی نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و بر اثر اصابت گلوله به ناحیه گلو جان باخت. بنا بر روایت نزدیکان، مادر او از حدود ساعت ۹ شب تا ۸ صبح در جست وجوی پیکر فرزندش بوده و پس از ساعت ها بی خبری پیکر وی را پیدا کرده است.
Araz Salimian, 27, a Gilak resident of Chalous, law student and barber, was killed on January 8, 2026 during protests in the city.
He was targeted by a volley of live ammunition fired by Islamic Republic forces in Chalous and was shot in the throat, resulting in his death.
Relatives report that Araz Salimians mother searched for his body from around 9 p.m. until 8 a.m., and after hours of uncertainty, she was finally able to locate his body.
