Ehsan Abedini, 35 years old and from Qom, was killed by a direct gunshot to the head on Sattar Khan Street in Tehran on January 9, 2026 19 Dey 1404 .
He was the owner of the “Javanan” shop on Shadman Street and had shown his solidarity with the people from the start of the protests by posting stories and messages of protest.
His body was discovered after the violent suppression of the protests, and friends identified him in videos that were later released.
