Hossein Rahimi, 44, was injured on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026 18 Dey 1404 , during protests in Isfahan, after being shot twice in the leg with live ammunition by Islamic Republic forces immediately after getting out of his personal vehicle in the Khanehye Isfahan area. He was transferred to Kashani Hospital, but later that night, following the entry of security forces into the hospital, he died. According to reports, the raid was carried out with the aim of eliminating the wounded, and during it, Hossein Rahimi and many other injured individuals were deliberately shot with executionstyle bullets.

Hossein Rahimis body was buried at Baghe Rezvan cemetery in Isfahan under the control of security forces, and his family was not allowed to hold a mourning ceremony.

حسین رحیمی، ۴۴ ساله، شامگاه پنج شنبه ۱۸ دی ۱۴۰۴ در جریان اعتراضات اصفهان، بلافاصله پس از پیاده شدن از خودروی شخصی اش در محدوده «خانه اصفهان»، با شلیک دو گلوله جنگی به ناحیه پا توسط نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی مجروح شد. او را به بیمارستان کاشانی منتقل کردند اما نیمه شب همان روز، پس از ورود نیروهای امنیتی به بیمارستان، جان باخت. طبق گزارش ها، این حمله با هدف حذف مجروحان صورت گرفت و در جریان آن، به حسین رحیمی و بسیاری دیگر از زخمی ها به طور عمدی تیر خلاص شلیک شد.
پیکر حسین رحیمی تحت کنترل نیروهای امنیتی در باغ رضوان اصفهان به خاک سپرده شد و خانواده اش اجازه برگزاری مراسم عزاداری نداشتند.
