According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Thursday evening, January 8, 2026 18 Dey 1404 , Bahram Zahedi, a 42yearold resident of Rasht, was killed by direct gunfire from government forces during the nationwide protests in the city.
A member of the Zahedi family, while confirming this report, told Hengaw that Bahram Zahedi—who was married and the father of two children—lost his life at around 9:00 p.m. in the Darvazeh Lakan area of Rasht during the nationwide protests, after being struck by Kalashnikov bullets as well as shotgun fire from repressive government forces.

یکی از اعضای خانواده زاهدی ضمن تأیید این خبر به هه نگاو اعلام کرد که بهرام زاهدی، متأهل و پدر دو فرزند، حوالی ساعت ۹ شب در محدوده دروازه لاکان رشت، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی و در پی اصابت گلوله کلاشینکوف و همچنین سلاح ساچمەای توسط نیروهای سرکوبگر حکومتی جان باخته است.
