It has been reported that on 26 June 2025, Jalal Khodamoradi, an environmental activist from Sanandaj, was arrested by security forces. Following his arrest, he was reportedly transferred to the detention centre of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps' intelligence office in Sanandaj for the formation of a legal case.
It is also reported that Jalal Khodamoradi had previously been arrested by security officers on 23 March 2024 and was released on bail after undergoing interrogation and being formally charged.

در خبری گزارش شده است که در 6 تیر 1404، جلال خدامرادی، فعال محیط زیست از شهر سنندج، توسط نیروهای امنیتی دستگیر شد. گفته شده است که پس از دستگیری، وی برای تشکیل پرونده قضایی به بازداشتگاه اداره اطلاعات سپاه پاسداران در سنندج منتقل شد.
