Based on the report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, Erfan Faraji, an 18-year-old from Shahr-e Rey, was killed by direct fire from government oppressive forces during the public protests in this city.

According to a source close to the Faraji family, Erfan Faraji, who had turned eighteen just a week earlier, died from a direct shot by a war weapon. His body was identified among those who were transferred by truck to Kahrizak on Saturday.

It is noteworthy that the body of this teenager was handed over to his family with a delay on Saturday, January 10, and was buried without public notification.

بر اساس گزارش رسیده به سازمان حقوق بشری هەنگاو، روز چهارشنبە ١٧ دی ١٤٠٤ ٧ژانویە٢٠٢٦ ، عرفان فرجی، ١٨ سالە و اهل شهر ری، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی این شهر با شیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر حکومتی کشته شده است.

به گفتهٔ منبعی نزدیک به خانوادهٔ فرجی، عرفان فرجی که تنها یک هفته از ورودش به هجده سالگی گذشته بود، با شلیک مستقیم سلاح جنگی جان باخته است. پیکر او در میان جان باختگانی شناسایی شده که روز شنبه با کامیون به کهریزک منتقل شده اند.

قابل ذکر است که، پیکر این نوجوان با تاخیر روز شنبە ٢٠ دی ماه بە خانوادەاش تحویل دادە شد و بدون اطلاع رسانی عمومی بە خاک سپردە شدە است.
