یکشنبه 9 دی ماه 1403، دو شهروند در توابع شهرستان مهاباد توسط نیروهای امنیتی بازداشت شدند. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که جمال شیخه پور و افشین خلیفه زاده، اهل روستای قوم قلعه از توابع منطقه شارویران در شهرستان مهاباد، در استان آذربایجان غربی دستگیر شده اند. گفته شده که بازداشت این افراد بدون ارائه حکم قضایی انجام شده است.
