According to information obtained by IranWire Mohsen Ghahramanpour a 22yearold protester was wounded by Islamic Republic forces on January 8 in the Tehranpars neighborhood of eastern Tehran.
He died in hospital one week later.
Sources confirmed to IranWire that agents targeted the young mans head and eye from a distance of just one meter.
Bystanders rushed him to a hospital in the Tehranpars area but after spending a week in a coma he died on January 15.
Tehranpars is a sprawling densely populated middle to workingclass neighborhood in east Tehran.
It has historically been a major hub for protests due to its wide boulevards and active youth population.
Shooting a person in the head from one meter away is not a “crowd control” measure; it is a pointblank execution attempt.
According to an informed source despite his young age Mohsen was a selfmade individual.
While working as a laborer he was determined to learn a trade and become an entrepreneur. He had recently started a business building prefabricated cabins conexes .
IranWire reviewed the young mans Instagram page where he frequently posted stories honoring Cyrus the Great who has become a symbol of Iranian patriotism and national identity among Generation Z youth.
He also shared videos of himself bodybuilding and doing pullups.
For many young Iranians Cyrus the Great represents a preIslamic secular heritage of human rights and national pride.
Celebrating him is often a subtle way of rejecting the current regimes strict religious ideology.
The informed source told IranWire that agents gave Mohsens father an ultimatum “Either say he was a Basij government militia member or we will not release the body.”
“In the end his father was forced to agree. They would not even allow the family to use the title ‘Javidnam Eternal Name on the funeral announcement. The hospital also charged the family for his medical expenses.”
This is a common and painful tactic used by the regime. By forcing families to claim their killed children were progovernment Basij members the state seeks to conceal the true number of protesters killed and to use funerals for its own propaganda.
“Javidnam” is the term protesters use to honor those killed by the state rejecting the governmentsanctioned label of “martyr.”
According to IranWires sources Mohsen was the only wounded person from Tehranpars that night who reached the hospital alive and medical staff took great care of him.
The source described him as a “passionate energetic and thrillseeking young man. He was kind compassionate and deeply loved motorcycles. When he reached adulthood he decided to work hard to achieve his dreams and buy the motorcycle he wanted. That is why he entered the cabinbuilding industry; he wanted to become the first entrepreneur from his hometown of Malayer in Hamadan province.”
According to his relatives Mohsen was “proud brave and courageous with Lur roots.”
They said he always radiated positive energy “He had great hope for life. Even at the moment he passed away though he had lost one eye his other eye remained open. It was as if his gaze was still fixed on this world full of the dreams and hopes he held for himself.”
He was laid to rest in Malayer.

بر اساس اطلاع «ایران وایر» «محسن قهرمان پور» معترض ۲۲ ساله ۱۸ دی۱۴۰۴ در محله تهران پارس در شرق تهران با گلوله سرکوب گران جمهوری اسلامی زخمی شده و یک هفته بعد در بیمارستان جان باخته است.
منابع نزدیک به خانواده تایید کرده اند که ماموران از فاصله یک متری به سر و چشم این جوان شلیک کرده و مردم او را به بیمارستانی در محدوده تهران پارس می رسانند ولی بعد از یک هفته در کما بودن ۲۵دی۱۴۰۴ در بیمارستان جان باخته است.
به گفته یک فرد مطلع محسن با وجود سن کم فردی خودساخته بوده و با وجود کارگری می خواسته صنعتی یاد بگیرد و کارآفرین شود. او به تازگی کار کانکس سازی را شروع کرده بوده است.
ایران وایر صفحه اینستاگرام این جوان کشته شده را بررسی کرده و در استوری هایش از «کوروش کبیر» که در میان جوانان نسل «زد» نماد ایران دوستی است تقدیر می کرده است.
او در این صفحه ویدیوهایی از خود در حال ورزش بدنسازی و بارفیکس رفتن نیز منتشر کرده است.
منبع مطلعی که با ایران وایر گفت وگو کرده می گوید که ماموران به پدرش گفته بودند یا باید بگویی «بسیجی» است یا پیکر محسن را تحویل نمی دهیم: «در آخر پدرش ناچار می شود قبول کند. حتی نمی گذارند برای اعلامیه از پس وند جاویدنام استفاده کنند. برای بیمارستان هم از خانواده پول می گیرند.»
فرد مطلعی که با ایران وایر گفت وگو کرده می گوید که محسن قهرمان پور «پسری پر از شر و شور و هیجانی بود و همیشه شاد و پر از انرژی بود. بسیار مهربان و دلسوز و خیلی عشق موتور بود.»
این شخص ادامه می دهد: «به سن بلوغ که رسید تصمیم گرفت برای رسیدن به آرزوهایش و خریدن موتوری که دوست دارد شروع کند به کار کردن برای همین وارد صنعت کانکس سازی شد و دوست داشت اولین کارآفرین شهر خودش یعنی ملایر در استان همدان باشد.»
محسن به گفته نزدیکانش «باغیرت دلیر و شجاع با اصالت لُر» بود و «همیشه انرژی مثبتی داشت»: «امید به زندگی داشت حتی موقع رفتن از دنیا یک چشمش را از دست داده بود ولی با چشم دیگر که باز بود از دنیا رفت. انگار چشمش به این دنیا بود و کلی آرزو و رویا برای خودش داشت.»
او سرانجام در ملایر به خاک سپرده شد.
