In recent days, Hossein Vahedi, a cultural activist residing in Bojnurd, the capital of North Khorasan Province, was summoned to Branch 103 of the Criminal Court 2 in Bojnurd upon receiving a notice.
According to the notice issued by Shirin Eftekhari Nasab, the clerk of the Criminal Court 2 in Bojnurd, Hossein Vahedi is scheduled to appear at 10:00 AM on November 7, 2023, to present his defense regarding the charge of "spreading falsehoods with the intent to disturb public opinion" to the judge in Branch 103 of the Criminal Court 2 in Bojnurd.
It is noteworthy that Hossein Vahedi had previously been summoned in mid-September 2023 to Branch 5 of the Investigation Office at the Public and Revolutionary Prosecutor's Office in Bojnurd for the explanation of charges. After being informed of the charges, he was released on bail.
Hossein Vahedi is a retired educator and an inspector of the North Khorasan Teachers' Trade Association.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران در روز ۳ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۲ به نقل از کانون صنفی معلمان ایران، طی روزهای اخیر، حسین واحدی، فعال صنفی فرهنگیان، ساکن شهر بجنورد مرکز استان خراسان شمالی، بار دریافت ابلاغیه ای به شعبه ۱۰۳ داداه کیفری ۲ بجنورد احضار شد.
براساس ابلاغیه صادره توسط شیرین افتخاری نسب، منشی دادگاه کیفری ۲ بجنورد، مقرر شده تا حسین واحدی، ساعت ۱۰ صبح ۱۶ آبان ماه ۱۴۰۲، جهت ارائه دفاعیات خود از بابت اتهام (نشر اکاذیب به قصد تشویش اذهان عمومی) به قاضی در شعبه ۱۰۳ دادگاه کیفری ۲ بجنورد حاضر شود.
لازم به اشاره است، حسین واحدی، پیشتر هم اواسط شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، برای تفهیم اتهام به شعبه ۵ بازپرسی در دادسرای عمومی و انقلاب بجنورد احضار و پس از تفهیم اتهام با تودیع قرار کفالت آزاد شد.
حسین واحدی، فرهنگی بازنشسته و بازرس انجمن صنفی فرهنگیان خراسان شمالی است.
