Nasser Nassiri a 52yearold Gilak citizen from Nasfi village a rural area in Rudbar and a resident of Tehran was killed on January 9 2026 in the Chitgar area of Tehran.
According to available information Nasser was directly shot in the heart with live ammunition by forces of the Basij an affiliate of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps during the suppression of protests. He died as a result of the gunshot wound.
His body was ultimately buried in his hometown Nasfi village in Rudbar against the backdrop of severe security pressure
