به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران به نقل از میزان، سحرگاه چهارشنبه ۱۵ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۴، مهدی ابوخالد حسام اصغرزاده، فرزند: عبدالکریم، اهل شهرستان جوانرود و زندانی عقیدتی متهم به «عضویت در داعش» در یکی از زندانهای ایران، اعدام شد.
براساس این گزارش، مهدی ابوخالد حسام اصغرزاده، حدود ۱۰ سال قبل، با اتهام «عضویت در گروه اسلامی ـ داعش»، توسط نیروهای وابسته به یکی از نهادهای امنیتی، دستگیر و در حالی که با اعمال تبصره ماده ۴۸ آئین دادرسی کیفری در مرحله بازجویی، بازپرسی و محاکمه از حق دسترسی و انتخاب وکیل مورد نظر خود محروم شده بود، توسط قاضی شعبه دادگاه انقلاب، محاکمه شده بود.
مهدی ابوخالد حسام اصغرزاده، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها با اتهامات «افساد فی الارض از طریق فعالیت گسترده در گروه تروریستی و تکفیری داعش» و «اقدام علیه امنیت عمومی کشور» به اعدام محکوم شده بود و این حکم توسط قضات شعبه دیوان عالی کشور، عینا تائید شده بود.
در بخش دیگری از این گزارش، ادعا شده که ماموران امنیتی، هنگام دستگیری مهدی ابوخالد حسام اصغرزاده، چند قبضه سلاح جنگی کلاشینکف به همراه خشاب، کمربند انتحاری، نارنجک جنگی، تعداد قابل توجهی ریموت انفجاری و انتحاری آماده وصل به مواد منفجره، آهن ربای مخصوص بمب های مغناطیسی برای چسباندن به خودرو، تجهیزات مربوط به تایمر زمانی بمب، چاشنی الکتریکی، فیتیله انفجاری الکتریکی، فیتیله کد سوز انفجاری، تعداد قابل توجهی آنتن موبایل جهت بمب های کنترلی، بی سیم دستی جهت مسلح کردن بمب های کنترلی از راه دور و… از جمله تجهیزاتی بود را از وی کشف و توقیف کردند.
همچنین، در بخش پایانی این گزارش، عنوان شده که مهدی ابوخالد حسام اصغرزاده، در پی گرایشات تکفیری به سوریه و عراق رفته و در آنجا آموزش های نظامی دیده و قصد انجام عملیات تروریستی در ایران را داشت.
According to Human Rights in Iran, quoting Mizan News Agency, at dawn on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 15 Mordad 1404 in the Iranian calendar , Mehdi Abu Khaled / Hessam Asgharzadeh, son of Abdulkarim, a native of Javanrud County and a prisoner of conscience accused of “membership in ISIS”, was executed in one of Irans prisons.
According to this report, around 10 years ago, Mehdi Abu Khaled / Hessam Asgharzadeh was arrested by agents affiliated with a security agency on charges of “membership in the Islamic group – ISIS.” During interrogation, investigation, and trial, he was denied the right to access and choose his own lawyer under the application of Note to Article 48 of the Criminal Procedure Code, and he was tried by a judge of a branch of the Revolutionary Court.
After going through interrogation, Mehdi Abu Khaled / Hessam Asgharzadeh was charged with “spreading corruption on Earth through extensive activity in the terrorist Takfiri group ISIS” and “acting against public security of the country”, for which he was sentenced to death. This sentence was upheld in full by the judges of the Supreme Court.
In another section of the report, it is claimed that at the time of his arrest, security forces discovered and confiscated a number of weapons and explosives, including:
Several Kalashnikov assault rifles with magazines, a suicide belt, hand grenades, a significant number of remotecontrolled and suicide bomb triggers ready to be connected to explosives, special magnets for attaching magnetic bombs to vehicles, timers for timed bomb detonation, electric detonators, electric explosive fuse and coded explosive fuse, large number of mobile phone antennas for use with remotecontrolled bombs, handheld walkietalkie used to arm remotecontrolled bombs and other related equipment.
In the final part of the report, it is stated that Mehdi Abu Khaled / Hessam Asgharzadeh had become involved in Takfiri ideology, traveled to Syria and Iraq, where he received military training, and allegedly planned to carry out terrorist operations inside Iran.
