Amin Pourfarhang, a Kurdish citizen from Shirvan and a pharmacy student at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, has been arrested by government forces during recent protests and is facing the charge of “enmity against God” moharebeh , carrying the risk of a death sentence.

According to a report received by the Hengaw Human Rights Organization, Amin Pourfarhang, who was arrested during recent protests in Shirvan, is now facing the serious charge of moharebeh by state authorities, along with a significant risk of being sentenced to death. This charge has repeatedly been used in recent years as a tool to suppress protesters.

According to available information, Amin Pourfarhang was previously an undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering, entering Sharif University of Technology in 2011, and was currently studying as a student at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.

Attributing the charge of moharebeh to unarmed protesters has once again intensified concerns over the use of death sentences as a means of intimidation and silencing dissenting voices.

خطر صدور حکم اعدام برای امین پورفرهنگ

امین پورفرهنگ، دانشجوی داروسازی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد، که در جریان اعتراضات در شهرستان شیروان بازداشت شده بود، با اتهام «محاربه» و خطر صدور حکم اعدام مواجه شده است.

گفته می شود امین پورفرهنگ دانشجوی کارشناسی ورودی ۱۳۹۰ رشته مهندسی شیمی دانشگاه صنعتی شریف بوده و اکنون دانشجوی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی مشهد است.
