اکبر داوری زندانی سیاسی پیشین، در ۱۸ دی ماه در فردیس کرج بر اثر شلیک نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. او در زمان حادثه برای کمک به یک زوج جوان وارد عمل شده بود.
داوری پیش تر نیز پس از اعتراضات ۳۰ شهریور ۱۴۰۱ بازداشت و مدتی در زندان نگه داری شده بود.
