Maedeh Dashtgard, born on Mordad 15, 1382 August 6, 2003 in Abyek, Qazvin, and a civil engineering student at Damghan University, was among the leaders of the student uprising in the university dormitories during the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests. On Azar 30, 1401 December 21, 2022 , following a dormitory protest and a raid by security forces on the university, she was poisoned by security agents and died in front of her classmates.
Her body was returned to Abyek and buried under strict security measures. Her family was not allowed to hold a funeral or share any information about her death.

مائده دشتگرد، متولد پانزده مرداد ۱۳۸۲ در آبیک قزوین و دانشجوی رشته عمران دانشگاه دامغان در تظاهرات زن، زندگی، آزادی جزو رهبران قیام دانشجویی در خوابگاه دانشگاه دامغان بود که در روز ۳۰ آذر ۱۴۰۱ پس از تظاهرات خوابگاه و یورش نیروهای امنیتی به دانشگاه بوسیله ماموران امنیتی مسموم شد و جلوی چشم همشاگردیانش جان باخت. پیکر وی به آبیک برگردانده شد و با محدودیت های شدید امنیتی به خاک سپرده شد. به خانواده او اجازه گرفتن مراسم یا خبر رسانی در مورد مرگ او داده نشد. یادش مانا و گرامی!
