On Friday, March 1, 2024, Fatemeh Mokhtari, a civil activist born in 1994, daughter of Nabi, residing in Sadeghieh Square, Tehran, and a political prisoner held in Evin Prison, has been deprived of basic prisoner rights, such as conditional release or serving the remainder of her sentence under judicial supervision, and is serving her two-year prison sentence.
A source close to the family of this political prisoner reported that Fatemeh Mokhtari, despite having served more than one-third of her sentence, had her request for conditional release rejected by the Tehran prosecutor. This was due to an incident involving the throwing of a sandal at Iman Afshari and Mohammad Reza Amouzad, two judges from branches 26 and 28 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court, during their visit to Evin Prison in December of the current year. Even her request to serve the remainder of her sentence under judicial supervision was denied.
It is noteworthy that Fatemeh Mokhtari was arrested on March 14, 2023, following a raid by security forces at a medical office where she worked as a secretary. After being transferred to Ward 209 of the Ministry of Intelligence located in Evin Prison and undergoing interrogation and charges, she was moved to the women's general ward of Evin Prison about two weeks later. On April 5, 2023, she was released on bail of 20 billion rials but was re-arrested in mid-May 2023 after being summoned to Branch 6 of the Prosecutor's Office in District 33 of Tehran and transferred back to the women's ward of Evin Prison.
During the trial process, Fatemeh Mokhtari was tried on May 10, 2023, by Judge Iman Afshari, head of Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court. She was subsequently convicted on charges of assembly and collusion against national security, insulting the leadership on social media, and propaganda activities against the regime, receiving a total sentence of two years in prison. Additionally, as a supplementary punishment, she was banned from social media activities and leaving the country for two years each.
After the verdict was issued and no appeal was filed, the sentence became final 20 days after notification. Under Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, the maximum penalty of two years in prison was enforced for Fatemeh Mokhtari.

به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران، امروز جمعه ۱۱ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۲، فاطمه مختاری، فعال مدنی، متولد: ۱۳۷۳، فرزند: نبی، ساکن: فلکه صادقیه تهران و زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان اوین در حالی که از حقوق اولیه یک زندانی برای استفاده از حق آزادی مشروط یا تحمل ادامه حبس، تحت نظارت قضایی محروم شده در حال سپری کردن دوران حبس تعزیری ۲ ساله خود است.
به نقل از یک فرد نزدیک به خانواده این زندانی سیاسی در گفتکو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”فاطمه مختاری، تا به امروز علیرغم سپری کردن بیش از یک سوم از حبس خود را سپری کرده اما درخواست با آزادی مشروط وی در پی پرت کردن دمپایی به ایمان افشاری و محمدرضا عموزاد، دو تن از قضات شعبه ۲۶ و ۲۸ دادگاه انقلاب تهران در زمان بازدید از زندان اوین در آذر ماه سال جاری توسط دادستان تهران رد شد. حتی در خواست تحمل ادامه حبس تحت نظارت قضایی هم برای این زندانی سیاسی رد شده است.”
لازم به اشاره است، فاطمه مختاری، در تاریخ ۲۳ اسفند ماه ۱۴۰۱، پس از یورش ماموران امنیتی به مطب پزشکی که وی تحت عنوان منشی در آنجا مشغول به کار بود، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بند ۲۰۹ وزارت اطلاعات واقع در زندان اوین و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، حدود ۲ هفته بعد توسط بازپرس شعبه ۶ دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، در نهایت به بندعمومی زنان زندان اوین، منتقل و در تاریخ ۱۶ فروردین ماه ۱۴۰۲ با تودیع وثیقه ای به مبلغ ۲ میلیارد تومان آزاد شد اما مجددا در تاریخ اواسط اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، در پی احضار به شعبه ۶ بازپرسی دادسرای ناحیه ۳۳ تهران، بازداشت و به بند زنان زندان اوین منتقل شد.
با آغاز مراحل دادرسی، فاطمه مختاری، در تاریخ ۲۰ اردیبهشت ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط قاضی ایمان افشاری ـ رئیس شعبه ۲۶ دادگاه انقلاب تهران، محاکمه و چندی بعد از بابت اتهام اجتماع و تبانی علیه امنیت کشور ، توهین به رهبری در فضای مجازی و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام در مجموع به تحمل ۲ سال حبس تعزیری و بعنوان مجازات تکمیلی هم به منع فعالیت در فضای مجازی، منع خروج از کشور برای هر یک به میزان ۲ سال، محکوم شد.
پس از ابلاغ حکم و عدم اعتراض به حکم صادره در نهایت پس از گذشت ۲۰ روز از تاریخ ابلاغ و قطعی شدن این حکم و اعمال ماده ۱۳۴ مجازات اسلامی، تحمل اشد مجازات به میزان ۲ سال حبس تعزیری برای فاطمه مختاری لازم به اجرا شد.
