Comment: Morteza Zompoush and Somayeh Rezaei, a young couple with a ninth-grade student, were brutally attacked by the regime's armed forces on the evening of January 8, 2026, while returning home from Hamedan University Square. The attacking forces attacked them with batons and shotguns. They fired 34 shotgun pellets directly into Morteza's face and smashed his head with a baton in front of his wife's eyes. They then attacked Somayeh, firing 27 shotgun pellets into her head and face and fracturing her skull with multiple blows from behind.
