Comment: On Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 (8 January 2026), Mahan Rostami, a Kurdish citizen, a follower of the Yarsan faith, and a native of Dalahu in Kermanshah Province (Kermashan), lost his life after being shot in the heart with live ammunition by government forces during the popular protests on one of the streets in the Dowlatabad neighborhood of Kermanshah.
