According to a report by HRANA News Agency, quoting Mizan the judiciary's news agency , on the morning of Saturday, Mehr 12, 1404 October 4, 2025 , Saman Mohammadi Khiyareh, a political prisoner held in Ghezel Hesar Prison in Karaj, was executed.

In the report by this institution, the charges attributed to Saman Mohammadi were "enmity against God moharebeh through membership in terrorist and Takfiri groups, carrying out armed operations, and planning and directing the assassination of Mamousta Sheikh alIslam."

The judiciary also accused Saman Mohammadi of "armed robbery of a jewelry store in Hamedan, stealing a private vehicle and killing its driver, shooting at civilians, and carrying out an armed attack on a police station at the Sheikhan threeway intersection in Sanandaj, which resulted in the death of a soldier."

Saman Mohammadi Khiyareh, approximately 34 years old and a native of Sanandaj, was arrested in February 2010 on charges of moharebeh waging war against God . A few months later, he was sentenced to death by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran, presided over by Judge Abolqasem Salavati. However, this verdict was overturned by Branch 41 of the Supreme Court due to insufficient evidence, and the case was referred to a parallel court for reexamination. Eventually, the parallel court sentenced him to 15 years in prison on the charge of membership in opposition groups.

Nevertheless, in an ambiguous process and under pressure from security agencies who were plaintiffs in the case, this verdict was overturned, and he was once again sentenced to death on the same charges.

A source close to the family of this political prisoner had previously told HRANA: "During his detention, Saman Mohammadi was subjected to physical and psychological pressure and was forced to confess to charges including the killing of a military officer and another individual during the 2009 protests. However, he denied these confessions throughout all interrogation and trial proceedings."

به گزارش خبرگزاری هرانا به نقل از میزان، صبح روز شنبه ۱۲ مهر ۱۴۰۴، سامان محمدی خیاره، زندانی سیاسی محبوس در زندان قزلحصار کرج، اعدام شد.

در گزارش این نهاد، اتهامات منتسب به سامان محمدی “محاربه از طریق عضویت در گروه های تروریستی و تکفیری، انجام عملیات مسلحانه و طراحی و هدایت ترور ماموستا شیخ الاسلام” عنوان شده است.

قوه قضاییه همچنین سامان محمدی را به “سرقت مسلحانه از یک طلافروشی در همدان، سرقت یک خودروی شخصی و قتل راننده آن، تیراندازی به سوی شهروندان و حمله مسلحانه به ایستگاه پلیس در سه راه شیخان سنندج که منجر به مرگ یک سرباز شد”، متهم دانسته است.

سامان محمدی خیاره، حدودا ۳۴ ساله و اهل سنندج، در بهمن ماه ۱۳۸۸ به اتهام محاربه بازداشت شد. وی چند ماه بعد در شعبه ۱۵ دادگاه انقلاب تهران به ریاست قاضی ابوالقاسم صلواتی به اعدام محکوم شد. این حکم اما به دلیل نبود ادله کافی در شعبه ۴۱ دیوان عالی کشور نقض و پرونده برای رسیدگی مجدد به شعبه هم عرض ارجاع شد. در نهایت، دادگاه هم عرض وی را به ۱۵ سال حبس تعزیری به اتهام عضویت در گروه های مخالف نظام محکوم کرد.

با این حال، در روندی ابهام آمیز و با فشار نهادهای امنیتی که شاکی پرونده بودند، این حکم نقض و وی بار دیگر از بابت همان اتهامات به اعدام محکوم شد.

یک منبع مطلع نزدیک به خانواده این زندانی سیاسی پیشتر به هرانا گفته بود: “سامان محمدی طی دوران بازداشت، تحت فشارهای جسمی و روانی قرار داشته و مجبور به پذیرش اتهاماتی از جمله قتل یک مأمور نظامی و یک فرد دیگر در جریان اعتراضات سال ۱۳۸۸ شده بود. وی اما این اعترافات را در تمامی مراحل بازپرسی و دادرسی رد کرده است.”
