According to accounts provided by family members and close associates, Ariana Arjmandi, a 23yearold citizen from Borujerd County, lost her life on Thursday, January 8, 2026 18 Dey 1404 , at approximately 6:00 PM, after being targeted by direct gunfire from suppressive forces of the Islamic Republic during the popular protests.
According to these accounts, Ariana was present among the crowd when she realized she was being pursued by an agent or a plainclothes individual. In an attempt to save her life, she separated from her friends and fled toward an alley, where the pursuing individual stopped her and fired at her heart from very close range. Ariana died at the scene.
Her family stated that security forces imposed humiliating conditions for the release of her body. Initially, the family was asked to identify her as a “Basiji” and a “martyr,” a condition that was firmly rejected. The family stated that their daughter had gone to the streets in pursuit of freedom and was not affiliated with suppressive forces.
A second condition required that Arianas body be buried in another city Fasa , which was also rejected by the family. The family emphasized that if such conditions were to be imposed, they were prepared not to accept the body at all.
Ultimately, according to relatives, the family was contacted around midnight and instructed to proceed with the burial quietly and without public notification. Under intense security pressure, and in a highly restricted and closely monitored setting, the family buried Ariana. It is reported that the entire burial process lasted less than one hour.
بر اساس روایت خانواده و نزدیکان، آریانا ارجمندی، شهروند ۲۳ ساله اهل شهرستان بروجرد، روز پنجشنبه ۱۸ دی ماه حوالی ساعت ۱۸:۰۰، در جریان اعتراضات مردمی با شلیک مستقیم نیروهای سرکوبگر جمهوری اسلامی جان خود را از دست داد.
طبق این روایت، آریانا در میان جمعیت حضور داشته که متوجه تعقیب شدن از سوی یک مأمور یا فرد لباس شخصی می شود. او برای نجات جان خود از دوستانش جدا شده و به سمت کوچه ای فرار می کند، اما مأمور تعقیب کننده در همان جا او را متوقف کرده و از فاصله ای بسیار نزدیک به قلبش شلیک می کند. آریانا در همان لحظه جان می سپارد.
خانواده او گفته اند که نیروهای امنیتی برای تحویل پیکر آریانا شروطی تحقیرآمیز مطرح کرده اند. نخست از خانواده خواسته شده بود که او را «بسیجی» و «شهید» معرفی کنند، شرطی که با مخالفت قاطع خانواده روبه رو شد. خانواده اعلام کردند فرزندشان برای آزادی به خیابان رفته و قهرمان است، نه وابسته به نیروهای سرکوبگر.
شرط دوم این بوده که پیکر آریانا در شهری دیگر فسا دفن شود، که این درخواست نیز از سوی خانواده رد شده است. خانواده تأکید کرده اند که اگر قرار است چنین شروطی تحمیل شود، حتی حاضرند جسد را تحویل نگیرند.
در نهایت، به گفته نزدیکان، نیمه شب با خانواده تماس گرفته شده و از آن ها خواسته اند «بی سر و صدا» و بدون اطلاع رسانی عمومی برای دفن اقدام کنند. خانواده تحت فضای شدید امنیتی، در شرایطی بسیار محدود و تحت نظارت، پیکر آریانا را به خاک سپرده اند. گفته می شود کل مراسم کمتر از یک ساعت طول کشیده است.
