مهرداد ریحانی زمانی کە برای نجات و انتقال یک دختر زخمی اقدام کردە بود از فاصلە نیم متری با شلیک مستقیم بە سر کشته شده است، پیکر او پس از ٨ روز در میان تعداد زیادی از کشتەشدگان در باغ رضوان اصفهان توسط خانوادە شناسایی و با اخذ تعهد و بدون اجازە اطلاع رسانی و در سکوت بە خاک سپردە شدە است.
