As of 5 September 2023, Manouchehr Fallah, a resident of Gilan Province, remains in an uncertain situation at Lakan Prison in Rasht, more than seven months after his arrest and the completion of interrogations.
According to information from a knowledgeable source, Fallah was arrested alongside Hafez Forouhi in connection with a joint case. Due to their activities on social media, they were charged during interrogations and subsequent investigations with propaganda against the regime and membership in opposition groups.
It is noted that Manouchehr Fallah was detained by agents affiliated with a security agency in Gilan Province in January 2023. After being transferred to a detention centre and undergoing interrogation, he was moved to the Miyagh ward of Lakan Prison in Rasht on 19 January 2023.
This political prisoner was tried by Branch 3 of the Revolutionary Court in Rasht, presided over by Mehdi Rasekhi. He was sentenced to one year, three months, and one day in prison for insulting the leadership and an additional seven months and 16 days for propaganda against the regime.
Manouchehr Fallah was arrested again in July 2023. Despite two bail orders being issued, his release has been prevented by the direct intervention of the Gilan Prosecutor.
In another ongoing case, this political prisoner is awaiting trial in the Criminal Court of Gilan Province.
سه شنبه ۱۴ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۲، منوچهر فلاح، اهل استان گیلان، با توجه به گذشت بیش از ۷ ماه از تاریخ دستگیری و اتمام بازجویی بطور بلاتکلیف در زندان لاکان رشت بسر می برد.
به نقل از یک منبع مطلع در گفتگو با گزارشگر حقوق بشر در ایران:”این شهروند از بابت یک پرونده مشترک با حافظ فروحی توسط ماموران بازداشت شدند و با توجه به فعالیتهایی که در فضای مجازی داشتند در مرحله بازجویی ها و سپس بازپرسی با فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام و عضویت در گروه های مخالف نظام تفهیم اتهام شد.”
لازم به اشاره است منوچهر فلاح، در دی ماه ۱۴۰۱، توسط ماموران وابسته به یکی از نهادهای امنیتی، در استان گیلان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام در تاریخ ۲۹ دی ماه ۱۴۰۱ به بند میاق در زندان لاکان شهر رشت منتقل شد.
این زندانی سیاسی در زندان لاکان رشت توسط شعبه ۳ دادگاه انقلاب رشت به ریاست مهدی راسخی محاکمه شد. وی بابت اتهام توهین به رهبری به ۱سال و سه ماه و یکروز حبس و بابت اتهام تبلیغ علیه نظام به ۷ ماه و ۱۶ روز حبس تعزیری محکوم شده است.
منوچهر فلاح در تیرماه ۱۴۰۲ بازداشت شد و علی رغم اینکه تاکنون دوبار برای وی قرار وثیقه صادر شده، اما با دخالت مستقیم دادستان گیلان، از آزادی او ممانعت به عمل آمده است.
این زندانی سیاسی در پرونده مفتوح دیگری، در انتظار محاکمه در دادگاه کیفری یک استان است.
