Parsa Rahmati, a 20-year-old student of Business Management at the Islamic Azad University, West Tehran Branch, was shot and killed during the Iranian people's national revolution. This young student was shot in the neck by oppressive forces on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2015, in the Fallah area of Tehran.
According to this information, Parsa Rahmati's family, after several days of searching and uncertainty, identified his body among the deceased. His burial ceremony was eventually held on January 12, 2015, under security conditions.
Reports indicate that the criminal regime of the Islamic Republic, by exerting pressure, did not allow a public mourning ceremony for this student to be held in mosques and public places, forcing the family to hold a limited and private ceremony.
According to accounts from Parsa Rahmati's relatives, due to severe economic pressures and to help cover the family's living expenses, he was working in a small production workshop while studying; a young man from the heart of society who became a direct victim of the regime's oppressive and violent policies.

پارسا رحمتی دانشجوی ۲۰ ساله رشته مدیریت بازرگانی دانشگاه آزاد اسلامی واحد تهران غرب در جریان انقلاب ملی مردم ایران هدف گلوله قرار گرفت و جان خود را از دست داد. این دانشجوی جوان شامگاه پنجشنبه ۱۸ دی ماه در منطقه فلاح تهران از ناحیه گردن هدف شلیک نیروهای سرکوبگر قرار گرفت.
طبق این اطلاعات خانواده پارسا رحمتی پس از چند روز جست وجو و بی خبری پیکر او را در میان جان باختگان شناسایی کردند و در نهایت مراسم خاک سپاری وی در ۲۲ دی ماه و تحت شرایط امنیتی برگزار شد.
گزارش ها حاکی است که رژیم جنایتکار جمهوری اسلامی با اعمال فشار اجازه برگزاری مراسم عمومی ترحیم برای این دانشجو را در مساجد و اماکن عمومی نداد و خانواده ناچار به برگزاری مراسمی محدود و خصوصی شدند.
بر اساس روایت نزدیکان پارسا رحمتی به دلیل فشارهای شدید اقتصادی و برای کمک به تامین هزینه های زندگی خانواده هم زمان با تحصیل در یک کارگاه تولیدی کوچک مشغول به کار بوده است؛ جوانی از دل جامعه که قربانی مستقیم سیاست های سرکوب و خشونت حاکمیت شد.
