Comment: Rouzbeh Safari, 36, a resident of Shahinshahr, was shot with a shotgun by Islamic Republic security forces on 8 January 2026 on Iman Street in Isfahan. He was struck three times in the leg and left bleeding in the street. He was later taken to a nearby hospital, where he received limited treatment and was told to leave. Despite ongoing threats and summons by security forces, he sought medical care elsewhere. On 30 January 2026, he died following severe pain, reportedly due to complications such as blood clots or pellet movement near major blood vessels. He was buried on 1 February 2026 in Shahinshahr.
