A Kurdish female citizen and activist from Bukan has been sentenced by the judicial system of the Islamic Republic of Iran to three months of imprisonment. This sentence has been officially communicated to her. The mentioned sentence was issued by Branch 101 of the Criminal Court Two of Bukan for the charge of "propaganda against the regime" and was officially communicated to Manijeh Khoshnoud on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, Monizheh Khoshnoud, born in 1968 and a resident of Bukan in West Azerbaijan Province, was arrested by security forces in the city. On September 5, 2024, after interrogation and formal notification of the charges, she was released from Bukan Prison on bail.

On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Branch 101 of the Criminal Court 2 of Bukan sentenced her to 10 months of discretionary imprisonment.

روز چهارشنبه ۱۰ مرداد ماه ۱۴۰۳، منیژه خشنود، متولد: ۱۳۴۷، اهل شهرستان بوکان از توابع استان آذربایجان غربی، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در آن شهرستان، دستگیر شد. وی در ۱۵ شهریور ماه ۱۴۰۳، پس از طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، با تودیع قرار وثیقه از زندان بوکان آزاد شد. وی در روز شنبه ۲۱ مهر ماه ۱۴۰۳، توسط قاضی شعبه ۱۰۱ دادگاه کیفری۲ بوکان، به تحمل ۱۰ ماه حبس تعزیری محکوم شد.

مجددا وی در روز سه شنبه ۵ خرداد ۱۴۰۵، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شده است.
