به گفته منابع، یاسر مجیدی پس از فراخوان در خیابان های اراک حضور یافت. در جریان رخدادهای آن روز، این دانشجو هنگام اقدام برای نجات یک دختر، هدف گلوله ماموران جمهوری اسلامی قرار گرفت و در همان محل جان باخت.
