Abolfazl Zare an 18yearold from Isfahan was shot on January 9 2026 in the Khaneh Isfahan area of the city.

According to available information he was shot from behind with the bullet entering through his back and exiting from his chest. Around 9:30–10:00 p.m. his mother transferred him to Gharazi Hospital.

After learning that he had been wounded by gunfire security agents reportedly moved him to a restricted section of the hospital and denied his mother access. The doors were reportedly disabled preventing entry.

By early morning relatives managed to enter the area but he was no longer there and hospital staff provided no information about his whereabouts.

Over the following days the family searched forensic centers hospitals and morgues including repeated visits to Baghe Rezvan cemetery but found no trace of him.

After 12 days his body was discovered at Baghe Rezvan under a different name. Authorities claimed the body had been in cold storage the entire time. However the body reportedly showed severe swelling bruising and scratch marks and the gunshot wounds were infected and swollen.

Three days later after the family was forced to sign written commitments not to mention his name publicly or on social media the body was finally returned to them

ابوالفضل زارع 18 ساله در شهر اصفهان در محدوده خانه اصفهان سرِ پنج طبقه در شب 19 دیماه با اصابت شلیک از پشت به کمر به صورتیکه که گلوله از سینه خارج شده بود در حوالی ساعت 9:30 الی 10 توسط مادرش به بیمارستان غرضی منتقل می شود و ماموران به محض آگاهی از مجروجیت به دلیل شلیک گلوله وی را به قسمتی از بیمارستان منتقل کردند و به مادرش اجازه حضور و همراهی را ندادند و سنسورهای در را خاموش کردند که باز نشود و در ساعت 5 صبح با کمک دایی های ابوالفضل وارد آن قسمت شدند ولی اثری از او پیدا نکردند و هیچ کس هم پاسخگو نبود. بعد از جستجوهای زیاد و مراجعه به پزشکی قانونی بیمارستان های اطراف و سردخانه ها و چندین بار مراجعه به باغ رضوان اثری از او نیافتند و در نهایت پس از 12 روز در باغ رضوان با اسم و مشخصات دیگری پیدا شد. در حالی که مدعی بودند جنازه در تمام این مدت در سردخانه بوده است اما جسد به شدت ورم کرده بود و آثار خراشیدگی و کبودی بر روی بدن و صورت مشاهده می شد و جای محل ورود و خروج گلوله به شدت چرک و ورم کرده بودند . بعد از سه روز با کلی امضا و تعهد که اسمی از ابوالفضل در فضای مجازی برده نشود جنازه را تحویل خانواده دادند.
