Moein Khashayari a 32yearold man from Bandar Abbas was killed on January 9 2026 after being shot at close range with a shotgun by forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to available information Moein was on his way home from the ShahHosseini neighborhood to his house in Borke Gerd when he was surrounded by motorcycleriding security agents. He was then shot in the chest at close range. The injuries caused severe damage to the arteries of his heart and lungs resulting in his death.

Moein worked as a mobile phone repair technician at Setareh Jonoub shopping center. He was the sole breadwinner of the household living with and supporting his mother after the earlier death of his father Mohsen
