Every victim has a story. Every story deserves to be remembered. Witness Report documents and preserves verified information about people affected by human rights violations, keeping reliable human rights records accessible to researchers, journalists, families, advocates and future generations. It also shares documented information through media and social platforms to help these stories reach wider audiences.

Membership helps sustain an independent, non-profit public-interest organisation and its human rights research and documentation. You can contribute professional skills, research, verification and fact-checking, translation, data collection, technology, writing, publication, social media, administration, governance, or simply take part as an ordinary member.

History is not preserved by silence. It is preserved by people who care enough to record the truth.

Witness Report Incorporated is an independent, non-profit public-interest association registered in South Australia. It is funded through membership fees and voluntary public donations, and receives no funding from governments, political parties or foreign state institutions. Membership helps maintain this independence.

ویتنس ریپورت اینکورپوریتد انجمنی مستقل و غیرانتفاعی در راستای منافع عمومی است که در استرالیای جنوبی به ثبت رسیده است. هزینه فعالیت‌های انجمن از حق عضویت و کمک‌های داوطلبانه عمومی تأمین می‌شود و از دولت‌ها، احزاب سیاسی یا نهادهای دولتی خارجی بودجه دریافت نمی‌کند. عضویت به حفظ این استقلال کمک می‌کند.

Ordinary Member

For people who want formal membership and a voice in the organisation’s governance.

Not sure which one is right for you?

Both membership types include voting rights. If you do not have time to volunteer but want formal membership and a say in the organisation’s governance, choose Ordinary Member. The AUD $100 annual fee is requested only after Committee approval.

If you can contribute time, knowledge or skills, choose Volunteer Member. There is no membership fee, and voting rights are included.
