Aliollah Veisi

Reports indicate that on 27 Aban 1403, Ali Allah Veisi, a resident of Sanandaj, was sentenced by the Revolutionary Court of the city to 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment. He received a 6-month sentence for "propaganda activities against the regime" and a 1-year sentence for "membership in opposition parties."

The court session for Ali Allah Veisi's case was held on 22 Aban 1403. On 24 Tir 1403, he was arrested by security forces in Sanandaj and, after interrogation and being informed of the charges, was released on bail on 24 Mordad 1403.

Previously, on 29 Ordibehesht 1401, Ali Allah Veisi was sentenced to 2 years of imprisonment for "propaganda activities against the regime" and was acquitted of "collaboration with Kurdish opposition parties." After an appeal and referral to the appellate court, he was sentenced to 5 months of imprisonment and 4 years of suspended imprisonment. He was detained on 10 Shahrivar 1401 and transferred to prison to serve his sentence, after which he was released upon completion.

This civil activist was arrested by security forces on 18 Ordibehesht 1400 and, following interrogation, was temporarily released on bail on 23 Khordad 1400.
