Hamed Araghi is a sports photographer who was detained by security forces on 9 January 2024. Security agencies have reportedly attempted to prevent the dissemination of news regarding his detention by exerting pressure and threatening family members and the community of sports photographers and journalists. There is currently no information available about the charges against him or his health status.
