Ramin Zaleh, a resident of Naqadeh in West Azerbaijan Province and a political detainee, was sentenced to death by the Mahabad Revolutionary Court on 6 December 2025. According to the issued verdict, he was sentenced to death on charges of acting against national security through membership in one of the Kurdish opposition parties.
Reports indicate that Ramin Zaleh was tried in a brief hearing via video conference and was denied access to legal counsel during interrogation, investigation, and trial proceedings.
Ramin Zaleh was arrested by security forces at his home in West Azerbaijan Province on 23 July 2024. After being transferred to a detention centre in the city of Urmia and undergoing interrogation and investigation, he was moved to Naqadeh Prison.
رامین زله، اهل شهرستان نقده در استان آذربایجان غربی و متهم سیاسی محبوس در زندان آن شهرستان، در تاریخ 15 آذر ماه 1404 توسط دادگاه انقلاب مهاباد به اعدام محکوم شد. بر اساس دادنامه صادره، وی به اتهام اقدام علیه امنیت ملی از طریق عضویت در یکی از احزاب کرد مخالف نظام به اعدام محکوم شده است.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که رامین زله در یک جلسه دادرسی کوتاه از طریق ویدئو کنفرانس محاکمه شده و در مراحل بازجویی، بازپرسی و محاکمه از حق دسترسی به وکیل محروم بوده است.
رامین زله در تاریخ 1 مرداد ماه 1403 توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل خود در استان آذربایجان غربی دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه در شهر ارومیه و طی مراحل بازجویی و بازپرسی به زندان شهرستان نقده منتقل شد.
