On February 4, 2024, it was reported that in recent days, Jan Mohammad Ahmadi, an educator and teachers' union activist residing in Noorabad, Mamasani County, Fars Province, was summoned to Branch 2 of the Revolutionary Court in that county for charges to be explained.
This teachers' union activist from Mamasani is accused of assembly and collusion and engaging in propaganda activities against the regime. He is required to appear at Branch 2 of the Mamasani Revolutionary Court at the appointed time to present his final defense.
Jan Mohammad Ahmadi was arrested by security forces during a teachers' protest rally on December 5, 2023. After being transferred to the county’s security police detention center and undergoing interrogation and charges being explained, he was moved to the county prison and released on bail on December 13, 2023.

The refusal of the detaining authorities to allow contact or visits, along with preventing his family from delivering his medication, has placed this labor activist’s life in serious danger in security detention facilities.
به گزارش حقوق بشر در ایران در ۱۵بهمن ماه ۱۴۰۲،به نقل از کانون صنفی معلمان ایران، طی روزهای اخیر، جان محمد احمدی، از فرهنگیان و فعالان صنفی معلمان، ساکن شهرستان نورآباد از توابع ممسنی در استان فارس، برای تفهیم اتهام، به شعبه ۲ دادگاه انقلاب آن شهرستان، احضار شد.
این فعال صنفی فرهنگیان ممسنی، در مضان اتهام اجتماع و تبانی و فعالیت تبلیغی علیه نظام قرار گرفته و باید در زمان تعیین شده جهت ارائه دفاعیات آخر خود به شعبه ۲ دادگاه انقلاب ممسنی، مراجعه کند
جان محمد احمدی در جریان برگزاری تجمع اعتراضی فرهنگیان، در تاریخ ۱۴ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط نیروهای امنیتی، بازداشت و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه پلیس امنیت آن شهرستان و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفهیم اتهام، به زندان آن شهرستان منتقل و در تاریخ ۲۲ آذر ماه ۱۴۰۲، با تودیع قرار وثیقه آزاد شد.
وی از بیماری قلبی شدید رنج می برد و نیازمند مراقبت های ویژه پزشکی و دسترسی مداوم به داروهای حیاتی است. ممانعت نهادهای بازداشت کننده از برقراری تماس یا ملاقات و عدم امکان تحویل داروهای وی توسط خانواده، جان این فعال صنفی را در بازداشتگاه های امنیتی با خطر جدی مواجه کرده است.
