Farshid Soltani, a hairdresser, was injured by gunfire from Islamic Republic forces during protests in Qaleh Hassan Khan, Tehran, on 8 January 2026. He was transferred to the Yekta 24-hour clinic in the same area, but later, his family was informed of his passing.
Reports indicate that Farshid Soltani was taken to the clinic with a leg injury, and his general condition was not critical. However, the following day, his body was returned to his family with a gunshot wound to the heart, despite initially being injured only in the thigh.
Although it is unclear what exactly happened to Farshid Soltani, there had been previous reports of injured individuals being detained in hospitals. In some hospitals, even the companions of the injured were reportedly detained.
Images from the protests in Qaleh Hassan Khan, Tehran, on the evening of 8 January 2026, show the bodies of protesters left on the streets. Reports suggest that Islamic Republic forces fired live ammunition at protesters in the area that night. It was also reported that on the first night, the hospital was filled with injured and deceased individuals, and protesters were targeted with live fire.
فرشید سلطانی، آرایشگر، در تاریخ 18 دی 1404 در اعتراضات قلعه حسن خان تهران با شلیک نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی مجروح شد. او به درمانگاه شبانه روزی یکتا در همان منطقه منتقل شد، اما بعداً خبر جان باختن او به خانواده اش اعلام شد.
گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که فرشید سلطانی با جراحت از ناحیه پا به درمانگاه منتقل شده بود و حال عمومی او وخیم نبود، اما روز بعد پیکر او با جای تیر بر روی قلبش به خانواده اش تحویل داده شد. این در حالی بود که او هنگام مراجعه به درمانگاه تنها از ناحیه ران پا مجروح شده بود.
اگرچه مشخص نیست که دقیقاً چه اتفاقی برای فرشید سلطانی افتاده است، اما پیش تر اخباری مبنی بر بازداشت مجروحان در بیمارستان ها منتشر شده بود. در برخی بیمارستان ها حتی همراهان مجروحان نیز بازداشت شده اند.
تصاویر منتشر شده از اعتراضات منطقه قلعه حسن خان تهران در شامگاه 18 دی نشان می دهند که پیکر معترضان روی زمین در خیابان رها شده بود. گزارش ها حاکی از آن است که نیروهای جمهوری اسلامی از همان شب به معترضان در این منطقه تیر جنگی شلیک کرده اند. همچنین گزارش شده است که در همان شب نخست، بیمارستان مملو از مجروح و کشته بود و معترضان هدف تیر جنگی قرار گرفته بودند.
