A former political prisoner and Kurdish political activist from Salmas, residing in Tehran, was violently arrested with the use of physical force on the early morning of Monday, 4 Esfand 1404 (February 23, 2026).
This activist had been released from Urmia Central Prison in 1400 after serving 14 years in prison and after his release was working as a ridehailing driver in Tehran.
