According to the Human Rights report in Iran, on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, Esmail Rigi, a 35-year-old man, son of Nazar, married and father of two, a resident of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, was arrested by security forces in Zahedan and transferred to an unknown location.
According to this report, Esmail Rigi was arrested while he was with his mother shopping in the Zahedan market.
As of the time of this report, there is no information about the exact reason for the arrest, the name of the arresting authority, or the whereabouts of Esmail Rigi.

به گزارش حقوق ببشر در ایران، روز سه شنبه ۴ مهرماه ۱۴۰۲، اسماعیل ریگی، ۳۵ ساله، فرزند: نظر، متاهل و دارای ۲فرزند، اهل و ساکن زاهدان مرکز استان سیستان و بلوچستان، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در زاهدان، بازداشت و به مکان نامعلومی منتقل شد.
براساس این گزارش، بازداشت اسماعیل ریگی در حالی صورت گرفت که وی به همراه مادر خود برای خرید به بازار زاهدان رفته بودند.
تا لحظه تنظیم این خبر، از علت دقیق بازداشت، نام نهاد دستگیر کننده و از مکان نگهداری اسماعیل ریگی اطلاعی حاصل نشده است.
لازم به اشاره است، اسماعیل ریگی، از کسبه پاساژ لال بخش در چهار رسولی واقع در شهر زاهدان مرکز استان سیستان و بلوچستان، است.
