Reza Asadi, a rapper from Yasuj known by his stage name "Jazam," has been sentenced to four years and six months in prison, with his case sent to the enforcement of sentences.
Reports indicate that Reza Asadi was active during the protests in December 2025, sharing videos of his participation in gatherings and music with political themes on his Instagram page.
The charges against him include "insulting the leadership," "sending videos to opposition networks," "propaganda and action against the Islamic Republic contrary to national security," and "disturbing order and peace through participation in the December 2025 unrest and creating commotion and uproar."
Reza Asadi was arrested on 1 May by intelligence officers at his residence. Reports suggest that he was beaten during the arrest and spent over a month in prison. He was temporarily released on bail afterward.
With the issuance of the four years and six months prison sentence and the forwarding of his case to the enforcement of sentences, there is a possibility of his imprisonment being carried out. His lawyer has appealed the sentence, and the individual is awaiting the outcome.

رضا اسدی در تاریخ ۱۲ اردیبهشت ماه توسط مأموران اطلاعات سپاه در منزل شخصی خود بازداشت شد. گزارش ها نشان می دهد که او هنگام بازداشت مورد ضرب وشتم قرار گرفته و بیش از یک ماه را در زندان گذرانده است. او پس از آن با تودیع وثیقه به طور موقت آزاد شد.
