On 3 August, Samaneh Amooshahi, a political prisoner held in Dolatabad Prison in Isfahan, was granted temporary leave. Reports indicate that she is serving her sentence among inmates convicted of violent crimes in Ward Two of Dolatabad Prison. She was transferred to this facility on 20 May of the current year to serve a two-year sentence.

In November 2024, Samaneh Amooshahi was convicted by the Revolutionary Court of Isfahan on various charges, including "forming a group with the intent to disrupt national security" and "propaganda against the regime." Under Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code, out of a total of 23 years of imprisonment, 10 years were enforceable. Of this, eight years were suspended for five years, leaving two years of imprisonment to be served.

Additionally, the political prisoner was sentenced to supplementary punishments, including a two-year ban on online activities and a two-year travel ban. Her electronic devices were confiscated by the government. The verdict against Samaneh Amooshahi was upheld by the Isfahan Provincial Court of Appeal. She, along with 21 co-defendants, was tried on 9 October 2024. Previously, she had been arrested by security forces in Isfahan on 11 July 2023 and was released on bail in August of the same year.
