Hossein Rouyintan, a journalist and political activist residing in Dashtestan, was arrested by the Dashtestan Intelligence Department officers on October 17, 2017. He was temporarily released on bail of 2 billion rials on November 16, 2017, until the end of legal proceedings.
According to the verdict issued and communicated by the Revolutionary Court of Dashtestan (Borazjan) under the advisement of Judge Amin Motahari Pour on March 15, 2022, Mr. Rouyintan was sentenced to 10 years in prison for "acting against national security," 1 year for "propaganda against the regime," 5 years for "insulting sanctities and the Imams, Ahl al-Bayt, Lady Sakineh, and Zainab," 2 years for "insulting the founder and the leadership," and 2 years for "spreading falsehoods and disturbing public opinion," along with a fine of 150 million rials.
The court cited the creation of a campaign on social media and the call for illegal gatherings as examples of the charges against this citizen.
Hossein Rouyintan, son of Mohammad and born in 1963, has previously been arrested and convicted due to his activities.
حسین روئین تن، روزنامه نگار و فعال سیاسی ساکن دشتستان در تاریخ ۲۵ مهر ۹۶ توسط ماموران اداره اطلاعات دشتستان بازداشت شد. وی در تاریخ ۲۵ آبان ۹۶ باتودیع قرار وثیقه ۲۰۰ میلیون تومانی به صورت موقت و تا پایان مراحل دادرسی آزاد شد.
بر اساس این حکم که توسط شعبه «دادگاه» انقلاب دادگستری شهرستان دشتستان (برازجان) به مستشاری «قاضی» امین مطهری پور در تاریخ ۲۴ اسفندماه ۱۴۰۰ صادر و ابلاغ شده است، آقای روئین تن از بابت اتهام «اقدام علیه امنیت ملی کشور» به تحمل ۱۰ سال حبس به اتهام «تبلیغ علیه نظام» به ۱ سال حبس، از بابت اتهام «توهین به مقدسات و ائمه اطهار، اهل بیت، حضرت سکینه و زینب» به ۵ سال حبس، به اتهام «توهین به بنیانگذار و توهین به رهبری» به ۲ سال حبس و از بابت اتهام «نشر اکاذیب و تشویش اذهان عمومی» به ۲ سال حبس و پرداخت ۱۵ میلیون تومان جزای نقدی محکوم شده است.
«دادگاه» ایجاد کمپین در فضای مجازی و دعوت به تجمع غیرقانونی را از مصادیق اتهامات این شهروند عنوان کرده است.
حسین روئین تن، فرزند محمد و متولد ۱۳۴۲ پیشتر به به واسطه فعالیت های خود سابقه بازداشت و محکومیت داشته است.
