On Saturday, 4 Bahman 1404 (January 24, 2026), Asra Tavousinia, a 14-year-old Kurdish child from Sonqor and Kolyai in Kermanshah Province, died after two weeks in a coma due to severe injuries sustained from direct gunfire by government forces, which struck the pelvic area, compounded by inadequate medical care.
She was a top student at Setaregan School in Kermanshah and had been injured on Thursday, 18 Dey 1404 January 8, 2026 , during public protests in the city when she was hit by live bullets.
The body of this victim was buried on Sunday, 5 Bahman, under pressure and threats from security authorities.
