Navid Soltanpour, born in 1982 in Kashmar and residing in Mashhad, was an activist present in the protests. He had previously been targeted with pellet bullets, arrested, and tortured in 2009.

Navid Soltanpour, a master's student in physical education at the University of Tehran, was arrested after the December 7 ceremony and remains in prison. According to Amir Kabir News, this independent student from the University of Tehran was arrested outside the university on December 7, and there is still no precise information available about the manner and reason for his arrest. Amir Kabir News also reported that there is no detailed information about his whereabouts and the treatment he is receiving, and even his family is unaware of his condition.
Despite threats, he continued his activities and participated in the protests of December 2025. On March 14, 2026, he was abducted by security forces after leaving his home and was killed. Hours later, his family was informed of his death at the police station. His body was handed over the next day and was buried in Kashmar on March 16, 2026, under strict security measures.

نوید سلطانپور دانشجوی کارشناسی ارشد تربیت بدنی دانشگاه تهران که پس از مراسم شانزدهم آذر بازداشت شد همچنان در زندان بسر میبرد.به گزارش خبرنامه امیرکبیر این دانشجوی مستقل دانشگاه تهران روز شانزدهم آذر بیرون از دانشگاه دستگیر شد و تاکنون از نحوه و علت دستگیری او اطلاع دقیقی در دسترس نیست. به گفته خبرنامه امیرکبیر از محل نگهداری و نحوه برخورد با این دانشجو نیز اطلاع دقیقی در دست نیست و حتی خانواده او از وضعیت وی اطلاعی ندارند.
با وجود تهدیدها او به فعالیت های خود ادامه داد و در اعتراضات دی ماه ۱۴۰۴ نیز حضور داشت.
در تاریخ ۲۴ اسفند ۱۴۰۴ پس از خروج از منزل توسط نیروهای امنیتی ربوده و به قتل رسید. ساعاتی بعد خانواده اش در کلانتری از مرگ او مطلع شدند. پیکر وی روز بعد تحویل و در ۲۶ اسفند 1404 در کاشمر تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به خاک سپرده شد.
