On Monday, June 24, 2024, Omid Kashani, born in 2003, son of Doost Mohammad, a resident of Zahedan, the capital of Sistan and Baluchestan Province, is being held in Zahedan Central Prison.
The continued detention and deprivation of Omid Kashani from his basic rights as a defendant is occurring while he has been held in Zahedan Central Prison for about 12 months.
It is worth mentioning that Omid Kashani was arrested on July 19, 2023, by security forces at his father's house located on Forough Street, Zahedan. After being transferred to a detention center of one of the security agencies in the city and undergoing interrogation and indictment procedures, he was transferred to Zahedan Central Prison.

تداوم بازداشت و محرومیت امید کاشانی از حقوق اولیه خود بعنوان یک متهم در حالی است که وی از حدود ۱۲ ماه پیش در زندان مرکزی زاهدان، بسر برده است.
لازم به اشاره است، امید کاشانی، در تاریخ ۲۸ تیر ماه ۱۴۰۲، توسط نیروهای امنیتی در منزل پدری اش واقع در خیابان فروغ زاهدان، دستگیر و پس از انتقال به بازداشتگاه یکی از نهادهای امنیتی در آن شهر و طی مراحل بازجویی ها و تفیم اتهام به زندان مرکزی زاهدان، منتقل شد.
