On 25 September 2026, Branch 26 of the Tehran Revolutionary Court issued a verdict regarding Hassan Younesi, a lawyer. He was sentenced to two years in prison and fined 50 million tomans on charges of "spreading falsehoods." Additionally, he received a one-year prison sentence and other penalties, including the confiscation of his mobile phone and a ban on online activities, for "propaganda against the system." If the verdict is finalised and Article 134 of the Islamic Penal Code is applied, the most severe punishment, which is two years of imprisonment, will be enforced.
Earlier, on 6 August 2025, Hassan Younesi attended an interrogation session at the Tehran Culture and Media Prosecutor's Office. At that time, he was judicially banned from online activities for three months. This followed a summons on 3 August 2025, when he was called to the same office.
Prior to that, on 10 November 2022, it was reported that Hassan Younesi had been abducted at Tehran Airport.
در تاریخ 3 مهر 1405، شعبه 26 دادگاه انقلاب تهران حکمی درباره حسن یونسی، وکیل، صادر کرد. او به اتهام "نشر اکاذیب" به دو سال حبس و پرداخت 50 میلیون تومان جریمه محکوم شد. همچنین به دلیل "تبلیغ علیه نظام" به یک سال حبس و مجازات های دیگری از جمله مصادره تلفن همراه و ممنوعیت فعالیت های آنلاین محکوم شد. در صورت نهایی شدن حکم و اعمال ماده 134 قانون مجازات اسلامی، شدیدترین مجازات که دو سال حبس است، اجرا خواهد شد.
پیشتر، در تاریخ 15 مرداد 1404، حسن یونسی در جلسه بازجویی در دادسرای فرهنگ و رسانه تهران حضور یافت. در این زمان، او به حکم قضایی به مدت سه ماه از فعالیت های آنلاین منع شد. این موضوع پس از احضاریه ای در تاریخ 12 مرداد 1404 صورت گرفت که او به همان دفتر احضار شده بود.
پیش از آن، در تاریخ 19 آبان 1401، گزارش شده بود که حسن یونسی در فرودگاه تهران ربوده شده است.
